Setup Exchange Rate
The Exchange Rate section allows the admin to manage currency conversion rates used throughout the Crypex system. From here, you can manually update exchange rates or configure a live exchange rate API for automatic updates.
Exchange Rate List
This page displays all available currencies with their current exchange rates based on the system’s base currency.
Displayed Information
- Country – Country associated with the currency
- Currency Name – Full currency name
- Currency Code – ISO currency code
- Currency Symbol – Symbol used in the system
- Rate – Exchange rate calculated against the base currency
Manual Exchange Rate Update
Update Rate
Click the Update Rate button to apply the latest configured exchange rates.
Useful after making changes to currency settings or API configuration.
Exchange Rate API Configuration (Currency Layer)
Crypex supports live exchange rate updates using the Currency Layer API. To configure the API, click Exchange Rate API.
API Configuration Fields
Access Key
Enter your Currency Layer API access key. This key is provided by Currency Layer after registration.
Base URL
Enter the API base URL.
Multiply By
Used to adjust the received exchange rate. Value must be greater than zero and up to two decimal places.
After entering the required information, click Update to save the API settings.
API Permissions
Control where the live exchange rates are applied:
Currency Permission
Enables exchange rate updates for currency calculations
Payment Gateway Permission
Applies exchange rates to payment gateway transactions
Each permission can be toggled between Enable and Disable.
Send API Request
Click Send Request to manually fetch the latest exchange rates from Currency Layer. Rates will be updated instantly based on the API response.
Supported Currencies
Currencies successfully updated via Currency Layer API.
Unsupported Currencies
Currencies not supported by the API and require manual rate updates.
